About
Oliver Rauer is a photographer and writer from Newcastle upon Tyne in the north east of England, specialising in Fine Art Photography and Portraiture.
Originally from northern Germany, Oliver relocated to the UK in the mid 90's. He discovered a talent and ultimately a passion for photography early on in his life, and despite having no formal training as a photographer he was determined to pursue his passion on a more professional basis.
In the past Oliver has photographed many well-known names such as David Coverdale or British folk legends such as Allan Taylor. He has done occasional work for magazines and local companies and is about to publish his first book, which will be available in 2012 (for more information visit the blog section).
Oliver now divides his time between Great Britain, Germany and the south of France.
